Why use Peer Educators?

We believe that the best people to tell others about what youth homelessness is really like are those who have experienced it themselves.

Broxtowe Youth Homelessness has delivered homelessness prevention work to young people in Broxtowe (and beyond) for many years. We have a strong track record of raising awareness, challenging stereotypes and providing information by delivering The Activity in schools, colleges and youth groups.

Working with peer educators was a natural progession for us, adding reality and impact to the sessions we deliver. We have been overwhelmed by the response to the project; from students to teachers to other professionals, the feedback has been exceptional.
