"My parents have kicked me out"

If you are over 16 and your parents have told you to leave the family home you will probably have to do so. It is important that you get help immediately to secure a temporary place to stay – either until you can return home or until permanent accommodation is found.

Go to the Housing Options Team at the council, phone Shelter on 0808 8004444, phone Childline or the NSPCC to get advice and information. Read through some of the articles on this site to get some more information about the types of help available and the places you might stay.
