Shelter is a national organisation working to improve the lives of homeless and badly housed people. Its website can answer many of your housing questions and provide excellent advice on what to do next. You can also call the free 24 hour helpline, Shelterline, for housing help and advice on 0808 800 4444. Your local Citizens Advice Bureau will also be able to give you information. On the national website you can find details of your local office or get information online. Framework is a very large Notts organisation which provides accommodation, along with many other services, to homeless people. The Framework website gives lots of information about various housing and support projects in Nottinghamshire. Notts Youth - Information specifically for young people and contact details for various organisations can be found at the Notts Youth website. The Connexions service offers information and advice on a whole host of issues important to young people eg housing, health, relationships, money, learning, bullying and your rights. The Connexions Direct website and also the Sort it site are both great places to check out if you have a question or a worry.
