As part of our homelessness prevention work in schools, we ask young people to describe what they think a homeless person looks like, and what homelessness means to them. The responses we hear reflect the stereotype that most of us have about homelessness - druggies, dirty, trampy, smelly, alcoholics, have dogs - you get the picture ...
